Website care plans

Website care that keeps your site fast, safe and up to date

WordPress needs regular updates and the occasional fix. With a care plan, I look after the technical side every month, so your site keeps working and you can focus on your clients.

What’s included

Monthly care, handled for you

  • Updates: WordPress, theme and plugin updates, checked after updating
  • Off-site backups, so your site can be restored if something goes wrong
  • Uptime and security checks
  • Small content changes each month, such as new prices, photos or testimonials
  • Automation monitoring, if you have workflows

Why it matters

The problems you don’t notice until they cost you

Outdated plugins

Most WordPress security problems come from software that hasn’t been updated. Updates are routine on a care plan.

Silent form failures

A contact form that stops sending emails can lose you enquiries for weeks before anyone notices.

No recent backup

If something breaks, a recent off-site backup turns a disaster into a minor inconvenience.

Good to know

What isn’t included

  • Redesigns, new pages or new features (quoted separately)
  • Hosting, domain and tool subscriptions, which are paid to the providers
  • Ongoing SEO or content writing (see SEO for hypnotherapists)

FAQ

Questions about care plans

Something else on your mind? Send me a message or book a free call.

Can you look after a site you didn’t build?

Usually, yes. I start with a quick health check to make sure the site is in a state I can maintain safely, and tell you if anything needs fixing first.

Is hosting included?

No. Hosting stays in your name with your provider. If your hosting is causing problems, I can recommend alternatives.

What counts as a small content change?

Things like updating prices, swapping a photo, adding a testimonial or editing a paragraph. Larger changes are quoted before I start.

Do I need a care plan?

Not necessarily. If you’re comfortable running updates and keeping backups yourself, you can manage without one. Many practitioners prefer not to think about it.
