Who I am

This website, sulemanshabir.com, is run by Suleman Shabir, an independent WordPress developer. If you have any question about your information, email info@sulemanshabir.com.

What I collect and why

I only collect information you choose to send me:

Contact, free review and project planner forms: your name, email address, website address and the answers you give. I use these to reply to you, prepare your review or quote, and talk about a possible project.
Optional email tips: if you tick the box in the project planner, I may send occasional website tips. You can unsubscribe at any time.
WhatsApp: the chat button opens WhatsApp with your message. Nothing you type in the chat box is stored on this website. Once you send it, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.
Calendly: if you book a call, Calendly processes the details you enter. The booking calendar only loads when you click to view available times.

Please don’t send passwords, logins or any health or client information through this website.

Where your information is kept

Form submissions are saved in this website’s WordPress database and sent to my email inbox. The website is hosted with a third-party hosting provider, and my email is handled by an email provider. These providers may process data in other countries under their own safeguards.

Legal basis (UK and EU visitors)

I process your details because you asked me to (to reply or prepare a quote), because it’s needed to take steps before a contract with you, or, for optional email tips, because you gave consent.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If we don’t work together, I delete them within 24 months. Project information is kept for as long as needed for the project, accounting and legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may set essential cookies if you log in. If I add analytics in future, I’ll update this policy and ask for consent where required.

Fonts and videos are served from this website itself, not from third-party services.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, object to how I use it, or withdraw consent. Email info@sulemanshabir.com and I’ll respond as soon as I can. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK.

Children

This website is meant for practitioners and businesses and is not directed at children.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
